KLM Cityhopper flights operated by a partner

To operate all our KLM Cityhopper flights, we sometimes use aircraft and crew from partners. We do this to and from various European destinations. For this purpose, KLM Cityhopper has agreements with trusted partners German Airways and Air France HOP!.

Different aircraft, same quality

KLM Cityhopper sets high standards for our partners, especially regarding safety. You will also have as much familiar KLM Cityhopper experience as possible. For example, check-in, baggage allowance, and on-board catering are the same as with KLM Cityhopper. Of course, you'll also earn Flying Blue Miles. The crew on board speaks English. Together with our partners, we do everything we can to make your journey as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Your journey can go ahead

KLM Cityhopper uses partner flights, for example, if there are currently too few aircraft due to maintenance. There may also be a crew shortage. With the help of one of our partners, your journey can still go ahead.

Additionally, KLM Cityhopper wants to maintain its departure and landing rights at airports. An airline can lose these if they are not used.

Our partners

For KLM Cityhopper flights, we sometimes use aircraft and crew from German Airways and Air France HOP!. When booking, you can see which airline operates the flight, even if a partner is stepping in. We will also e-mail you to let you know your flight will be with a partner. Finally, the airline operating the flight is listed in My Trip and on your boarding pass.
