From summer 2021 KLM will launch a new direct flight between Amsterdam Schiphol and Austin. Situated in the heart of Texas, Austin bursts with energy and pulses with community spirit; experience the communal heart of the city in the many distinct and colourful neighbourhoods. A place where good food and music are always high on the agenda. Be sure to bring your appetite and discover a variety of mouth-watering cuisines from the many food trucks and restaurants. The iconic music scene brings Austin to life with live performances each night across the city. KLM will operate three weekly flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with an Airbus A330-300. The flights will depart from Amsterdam at 12:40 and arrive in Austin at 16:10. Return flights will leave Austin at 18:00 and arrive in Amsterdam at 10:15, the following day.
From the 31 March 2019 KLM will launch a new scheduled service to Boston. The charming capital of Massachusetts is one of the oldest and cultural richest city of the United States. Boston is the home of the Harvard University, the renowned M.I.T. and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The city is at the same time historically traditional with its small serial houses and a modern metropolis marked by skyscrapers and a beautiful harbour KLM will offer flight connections to Boston on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. An Airbus A330-300 will depart from Amsterdam at 5 pm and will arrive at 6:30 pm in Boston. There will be connecting flights from all 10 German departure airports. As of 1 July 2019, a fourth weekly flight operating on Monday will be added. The Dreamliner of KLM operates Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Amsterdam Schiphol first to San José, the capital of Costa Rica. After a brief stopover at San José, the flight continues to Liberia and from there it goes nonstop to Amsterdam. There will be connecting flights from all 10 German departure airports.

From 6 May 2019 until 26 October 2019 KLM will offer daily flight connections between Amsterdam and Wroclaw. The route from Amsterdam to Wroclaw will be served by an Embraer 175 with room for up to 88 passengers. There will be connecting flights from all German departure airports.
From 3rd August 2020 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will operate a new direct flight between Amsterdam Schiphol and Cork. Located on an island between two canals of the River Lee, Cork is a charming cosmopolitan city known for its maritime history spanning over a thousand years. The beautiful coastal environment is a must for nature lovers and adventurers, whereas city dwellers will enjoy the laidback feel of Cork, with its many cool coffee bars, museums, pubs and art galleries. After Dublin, Cork is the second destination in Ireland as well as the 93rd destination in Europe that KLM services nonstop from Amsterdam Schiphol. KL1085 leaves Amsterdam Schiphol daily at 12:05 pm and arrives in Cork at 12:55 pm. Return flight KL1086 will leave Cork at 1:25 pm with arrival in Amsterdam at 4:10 pm. The daily flights will be operated with an Embraer 175 with a total of 88 seats per flight.
Ibiza is the third largest Balearic Island. Famous DJs are attracted by the island and promise unforgettable nights and endless clubbing. The Mediterranean Island is renowned for its large beaches, small secluded coves and a sunny outlook. Crystal clear water, white sandy beaches, lavender fields, olive groves, dunes, stone pine fields and seabirds are one of many natural resources making this magnificent island even more beautiful. From 20 April 2019 KLM will connect Amsterdam-Schiphol with Ibiza. Our Boeing B737-800 will depart every Saturday and Sunday. There will be connecting flights from all 10 German departure airports.
Las Vegas is the new destination of KLM. Located in the middle of the Mojave Desert, the gambling metropolis is known for a lively nightlife, casinos that are open around the clock as well as entertainment offerings. Along the 6,5 km long Boulevard “Strip”, motto hotels with stunning and thematic architecture are situated. Get inspired by fountains, an ancient Roman looking Shopping Mall, Parisian Eiffel Tower, a ride through Manhattan on the rollercoaster and many other attractions. From 6 June 2019 Las Vegas will be the 18th destination of KLM in North America. The route from Amsterdam to Las Vegas will be served up to three times weekly by a KLM Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with 294 seating capacities. There will be connecting flights from all 10 German airports.
Liberia in Costa Rica
From the 29th October 2019 KLM will launch a new scheduled service to Liberia in Costa Rica. Guanacaste is a region in the northwest of Costa Rica, bordering the Pacific Ocean and lies at approximately 150 miles from the capital San José. The region is known for its beautiful coastline, with quiet inlets, pristine beaches and small islands that dot the coastline. The climate in Guanacaste is unique in Costa Rica, since the region receives little to no rain from November to April; which makes it a popular holiday destination. Also in terms of nature the region has a lot to offer, jungles around the volcanos in the interior form a green backdrop for hikers and flora and fauna enthusiasts alike. The capital of Guanacaste is Liberia, with 60.000 inhabitant. The modern international airport of Guanacaste Liberia is situated less than 15 miles from the nearest beach. Pizza, Pasta, Napoli. This Southern Italian city is located at the Gulf of Naples and the still active volcano Mount Vesuvius. The historical roots of Naples go back to the 2nd century which explains the disposition of important architecture and culture. In 1955 the Neapolitan old town was added to the UNESCO world heritage list. Narrow streets, arts and craft, old buildings and antiques reflect the cultural life of the city. Naples guarantees a sensual shopping experience and you will be spoiled with culinary specialities. As of 21 April 2019, KLM will introduce a new service between Amsterdam and Naples using a Boeing B737-700. According to holiday season, KLM will offer between 6 July 2019 and 31 August 2019 daily flight connections from Monday to Saturday.
From 28th September 2020 KLM will launch a new scheduled service to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. Four weekly flights are planned, with a stop in Dammam (Saudi Arabia) on the return flight to Amsterdam. The flights will be operated by an Airbus A330-200 with a total of 264 seats per flight. Flight KL0425/0423 takes off on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 3:35 pm in Amsterdam and lands in Riyadh at 10:40 pm. Return flights are scheduled on the same days at 11:59 pm with arrival at 01:10 am in Dammam the following days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays). From here the flight continues to Amsterdam at 02:25 am, with a final arrival at 8:05 am.
From August 31st 2020, KLM will operate a new daily flight between Amsterdam Schiphol and Southampton. Southampton is the third largest port in the United Kingdom and the largest cruise port in Northern Europe, with 2 million cruise passengers a year. The city has some of the best preserved medieval city walls in England. A visit to the historic docks is also highly recommended. And the ultra-modern SeaCity Museum tells the story of the Titanic, which left Southampton on 10 April 1912. Southampton is the seventeenth destination in the United Kingdom that KLM services nonstop from Amsterdam Schiphol. The daily flights will be operated with an Embraer 175, which has a total capacity of 88 seats per flight. The daily flight KL0919 leaves Amsterdam Schiphol daily at 4:35 pm and arrives in Southampton at 4:45 pm. Return flight KL0920 will leave Southampton at 5:20 pm with arrival in Amsterdam at 7:35 pm.
The historic city Split is situated on the Damaltian coast and it is the second largest City of Croatia. Diocletian's palace, with an architecture that resembles a fortress, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979. This worth seeing complex and the animated seaside promenade Riva compose the centre of the cultural metropolis Split. Beautiful beaches, bays and a crystal clear sea inspire every seaside vacationer. From 7 April 2019 to 30 June 2019 KLM will offer on Saturdays and Sundays flight connections between Amsterdam and Split. The route from Amsterdam to Split will be served by a KLM Embraer 190. There will be connecting flights from all German departure airports.
